Intended use

Virtual LUCY™ is intended for adult patients (over 18 years) with digital access to receive remote clinical assessment, advice, treatment plans and information relating to their condition either through a clinical review of information provided by the patient or through a telephone or video consultation. Triage flows collect user provided information and guide the process. These use established question flows which determine the specialty, urgency and most appropriate clinician. Further specific information is then collected from the user prior to any clinical assessment.

Virtual LUCY™ integrates all the processes that take place around a clinical episode and provides access to any further resource required for the clinical pathway and shares all the clinical information, educational material and plan with the user.

Virtual LUCY™ is not intended for use in an emergency.

Virtual LUCY™ is powered by predetermined response flows and is reliant on accurate responses to those questions provided by the user.
Virtual LUCY™ does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment; it guides the user to an appropriate service or clinician and supports the conversation between user and that clinician

- Severe, heavy or crushing chest pain, which may move to jaw, neck, arm, or back, or be associated with sweating, shortness of breath or nausea.
- Signs of a stroke, which may include facial weakness, inability to hold both arms up, or difficulty speaking.
- Severe breathing problems
