Mr. Owen was educated in Cambridge and gained specialty training at several of the major orthopaedic centres in the UK including Southampton, Birmingham, Oswestry and London. Julian has also spent a very fruitful year in Canada on a ‘Joint Reconstruction and Trauma’ clinical fellowship in Toronto.
His practice combines a general trauma practice with elective adult hip and knee surgery. His elective interests include arthroscopic knee surgery and joint replacement surgery (primary and revision) for both hip and knee. He practices ‘conservative’ reconstructive surgery where possible with interests in hip resurfacing and both uni-compartmental and patello-femoral knee replacements.
