Professional profile
Joel is a specialist knee surgeon with Masters degree in Orthopaedic Engineering.He was first trained in the Wessex region where he was awarded the FRCS and CCT in Trauma and Orthopedics. This experience was followed by a year of fellowship training at the world-renowned North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, where he gained further experience in all aspects of knee treatments and sports medicine. He has also completed fellowship training in Russia and as an AO fellow in Marseille, France. He has attended international training courses and specialist meetings in the USA, Australia and throughout Europe.
Mr. Melton considers that research improves knee surgery results and has more than 80 published papers and presentations about a broad range of knee surgery topics.
